The Mandalorian And Grogu is heading to comics for the first time with the all-ages one-shot Danger in the Dark from Papercutz and Mad Cave Studios.
Written by Delilah S. Dawson, with pencils and inks by Arianna Florean, layouts by Mario del Pennino, and art by Brent Schoonover, Ramon Rosanas, and Juni Ba (with more to be announced), the one shot will feature the titles characters alongside the Anzellan droidsmiths. So expect lots of “bad baby!” incoming.
Aimed at younger readers, the book will come [checks notes] two whole months after the movie hits theaters, on July 22, 2026, so comics has done it again! Anyway, here’s the synopsis and covers, below:
A hidden danger looms deep beneath the surface of Nevarro, and it’s up to the Mandalorian and Grogu to stop it! Joined by a courageous crew of Anzellan friends, Din Djarin and his foundling venture into the lava tubes underneath the city to defuse a crashed pirate ship, facing creepy creatures and perilous obstacles along the way. But with the planet’s safety on the line, can Grogu learn to listen to Mando’s guidance? And can Mando balance teaching Grogu with letting the little guys lead? Don’t miss this high-energy story full of humor and heart!
