Normally, skin with your pizza would be pretty gross. But for a limited time, Prince St. Pizza is teaming up with Skybound Entertainment to celebrate the launch of invincible VS. with a new Burger Mart Supreme pizza inspired by the animated series. And as a bonus, you’ll get an in-game skin, absolutely free.
“The Invincible IP has never been bigger than it is right now, with another #1 season of the show and the first major game in the franchise launching,” said Garima Sharma, Vice President of Licensing and Partnerships, Skybound Entertainment via press release. “Our partnership with Prince Street Pizza is another way to turn the upcoming launch of Invincible VS into an immersive experience that will resonate with fans and give them another taste of the world they love.”
Mmmm, corporate buzzwords, yummy, yummy. Okay, but seriously if you’re more concerned with what the pizza is all about rather than what it means to Skybound’s bottom line, the answer is: wild. Per PR, the Burger Mart Supreme is “Topped with shredded mozzarella and New School American cheese, ground beef, yellow mustard, shaved iceberg lettuce, sliced pickles, sesame seeds, and a signature Burger Mart sauce.” And if you’re not familiar, Burger Mart is the chain Invincible and pals eat at in the Prime Video series.
The pizza (which costs $40, at least in NYC) also comes with a custom box inspired by Burger Mart. The better part for fans of the new 3×3 fighting game (which is very fun, by the way, I was able to get an advance copy for review and have been having a blast) is it comes with “a downloadable, exclusive in-game Invincible skin featuring the character in Prince St. Pizza’s signature colorway with two distinct variants—bringing the IRL drop directly into the world of Invincible VS gameplay.” At least through May 31.
