This is Comic Book Club News for April 24, 2026.

Godzilla Takes On Marvel’s Multiverse In New Series:

Godzilla has been the King of the Monsters, and in Marvel’s crossover comics, a Venom. And now he’ll also be a Wolverine (and maybe other stuff) in Godzilla Conquers the Multiverse.

Written once again by Gerry Duggan and drawn by Javier Garrón, this marks the end of the trilogy that began with some simple team-ups. Well, sort of simple.

Per Marvel, “An unholy alliance between Knull and Godzilla conquers the Marvel Universe–-and now Doctor Doom, Spider-Man, Kang, Emma Frost, Ghost Rider, the Punisher, Man-Thing and more stand on the edge of annihilation! When Doomstadt rips across dimensions to capture a kaiju capable of stopping the King of the Monsters, the team collides with mecha fiends, multiversal kaiju and a deadly Red Skull in adamantium armor. But as universes burn, an unexpected ally may hold the key to survival.”

Godzilla Conquers the Multiverse #1 hits stores on July 22.

Fantastic Four Celebrates 65 Years:

Fantastic Four ushered in the modern age of superheroes back in 1961. And to celebrate 65 wonderful years of Marvel’s first family, the publisher is releasing not just an oversized issue of the team’s regular adventures, but a cover collection as well.

Written by Ryan North with art by Humberto Ramos, the over-sized Fantastic Four #15 will find the team with their history starting to reverse, unless a stranger can find out how to save them. Plus, promises Marvel, “Johnny’s mustache saves New York City?!”

In addition to the issue, Fantastic Four: 65 Years of the World’s Greatest Comic Covers features 700 (!!) covers from, you know, everyone, alongside commentary from “FF creators past and present.”

Fantastic Four #15 and Fantastic Four: 65 Years Of The World’s Greatest Comic Covers! both hit stores on August 5.

Greg Rucka’s Wonder Woman Gets An Omnibus:

Greg Rucka wrote one of the most lauded runs on Wonder Woman starting in 2006, and now DC is collecting Rucka’s work into an omnibus. But not that run I just mentioned; the other one.

Per ICv2, DC will release Wonder Woman: Rebirth, which collects Rucka’s return to the title 10 years later as part of DC’s Rebirth initiative. And while the stories there aren’t quite as iconic as the original run, you do get art by Bilquis Evely, Nicola Scott, Liam Sharp, and more, so that’s pretty rad.

The 720 page hardcover will cost $100 and hit stores on September 1, 2026.
