Exclusive: Adam Warren’s ‘Empowered’ Gets A Fourth Omnibus And Deluxe Edition From Dark Horse

We’re rapidly headed towards the 20th anniversary of Adam Warren’s funny, sexy, and often highly earnest comic book series Empowered next year in 2027. And in advance of the milestone, as Comic Book Club can exclusively reveal, Dark Horse Books is collecting the remaining three volumes of the series in two collections: Empowered Omnibus Volume 4, and Empowered Deluxe Volume 4.

Including what was previously published as volumes 10 through 12 of the series, the omnibus will be released as a 648 page, 6.5″x9″ paperback and cost $34.99. Meanwhile, the Deluxe Edition will be a 672 page hardcover at the same trim size, cost $59.99, but also feature bonus content not seen in the omnibus. Specifically, “unpublished stories and deleted scenes, plus design sketches and behind-the-scenes creator notes.”

“This double dose of door-stopping hardcover and paperback sends off the serialized graphic novel version of Empowered in fine fashion, if I do say so myself, as these collections include the best work I ever produced as an artist and writer. (No, really!),” Warren said via a press release provided to Comic Book Club. “Down the road, I hope to continue this series in a different format, but for now, these two titanic tomes should serve nicely as a temporary capstone to Empowered‘s twenty-year cavalcade of ‘sexy superhero comedy,’ I’d say!”

Empowered Omnibus Volume 4 and Empowered Deluxe Volume 4 both arrive in bookstores and comic book shops on November 17, 2026. Check out the covers and synopsis below.
