Doctor Doom Takes On His Five Greatest Enemies In ‘Challenges Of Doom’ One-Shots

Challenges of Doom: Mr. Fantastic #1

Doctor Doom is having a moment, and now he’ll have five of them thanks to the one-shot series Challenges of Doom from Marvel Comics.

Written by Al Ewing, each issue will have a different artist, starting with Mike Henderson on July’s Challenges of Doom: Mr. Fantastic. That will be followed by issues focusing on Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Magneto, Namor, and Doom’s greatest enemy, “armor chafe.”

“CHALLENGES OF DOOM will pit the Lord of Latveria against some of the prime movers of the Marvel Universe as a way of illuminating different facets of Doom’s power, personality, intellect and skill,” Executive Editor Tom Brevoort explained via press release. “Through them, you’ll get a full picture of just why Doom is the greatest of all Marvel’s villains.”

Challenges of Doom: Mr. Fantastic #1 hits stores on July 1, 2026. Check out covers by Fabrizio De Tommaso, Alessandro Cappuccio, Kael Ngu, and Lucio Parrillo, and solicit info for all five titles, below.
