Absolute Batman Dominates March 2026 Graphic Novel Sales:

Yesterday, we brought you the rundown of top single issues comic book sales for March 2026, with Absolute Batman coming in at a rare number three. Well, worry not, as the DC Comics title took the top two slots on the March 2026 graphic novel sales.

Per ICv2, DC Comics actually grabbed a bonkers 18 of the top 20 slots on their list, leaving room for only an Invincible Digest from Image Comics at number 16, and the Marvel Premier Collection of The Punisher: Welcome Back, Frank from Marvel sneaking in at number 20.

For DC, 10 of the entries were for Absolute Universe titles, with both soft and hardcover versions of the first and second volumes of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman all hitting the charts. They were joined by the first softcover version of Martian Manhunter at number nine.

Seven of the slots were taken up by the popular DC Compact Comics, with Nightwing: Leaping Into The Light at number four, Flash: Rebirth at number six, and Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow at number seven.

The lone other title? Batman: Dark Patterns, the evergreen mystery series by Dan Watters and Hayden Sherman, which came in at number 12.

Matt Kindt Creates Anti-AI Logo:

This May, creator Matt Kindt is debuting his imprint Flux House at Oni Press with a Free Comic Book Day Special, before the line itself officially launches in June. But even more exciting is that as exclusively revealed last week by Comic Book Club, Kindt is launching a new, open-source certification: “100% Human-Made,” which is available to all creators loudly and proudly declare humans made this in the age of AI.

The 100% Human-Made emblem is designed by Kindt, who is a human — just FYI — and is, per PR, “a new, open-source certification for comics, graphic novels, and other visual, musical and audio forms of creative work to designate them as fully derived of the human imagination and otherwise free of elements designed or enhanced by generative artificial intelligence.”

While the emblem will officially launch on Oni Press’ Mind MGMT: New & Improved #1 on June 24, 2026, the certification is available to anyone to use, with attribution: a high-res .eps file is available for download online right now at OniPress.com.

Books With Pictures Creates Graphic Novel Book Club:

Looking for your next great read? Look no further than Graphic Novel Library, a new monthly subscription service for both kids and adults.

Per SKTCHD, the program was created by Katie Pryde of Portland’s Books With Pictures, and Andréa Gilroy of Eugene’s Books with Pictures. Each month, for adults they’ll send you a “new-release graphic novel, an associated art print or sticker, and a papercraft version of the book of the month.” In addition, there’s an online discussion area, and TBA in-person book clubs coming soon.

As for kids, in addition to an alternate book choice, there’s a moderated, kids-only Discord, alongside a parents discussion channel online.

The monthly cost is $20 for kids, and $25 for adults, with a 5% discount for paying ahead for six months, and a 10% discount for paying ahead for the full year. And as a preview, previous selections include Absolute Wonder Woman Volume 1, Assorted Crisis Events Volume 1, and others. You can subscribe at grahicnovelibrary dot org.
