DC’s Superman/Spider-Man Tops March 2026 Comic Book Sales:

DC’s Marvel crossover issue Superman/Spider-Man hit the top of March 2026’s single issue sales, leading off another odd month for the House of Ideas.

Per ICv2, while Marvel was technically part of the DC Comics released issue, and did come in at number two for Daredevil #1, at least in part on the strength of the blind bag program, the only other Marvel title in the Top 10 was a facsimile of Marvel Team-Up #14, the crossover between Spider-Man and Invincible which was published by Image Comics.

Overall, Marvel nabbed 22 slots on the Top 50, with X-Men United #1 coming it at number 11, and the once dominant Ultimate line charting highest at number 25 with Ultimate Endgame #3.

While they missed one and a half of the top two slots, DC otherwise dominated the top half of the chart, snagging 20 slots on the Top 50. That includes Absolute Batman #18 at number three, Batman #7 at number four, and DC K.O. #5 at, well, number five. For their Next Level titles, Lobo #1 came in at number seven, Batwoman #1 at number 13, and Deathstroke at number 19.

Including the Marvel Team-Up, Image had a bigger month than usual with eight titles on the Top 50, though another of those was also an Invincible reprint, and two of the issues were new hit series D’Orc issues #1 and #2.

Absolute Batman Reveals Robins:

In the iconic Teen Titans Go! To The Movies, Robin is being made fun of for his tiny hands, and when the team prompts him to show off his “baby hands” he says, “Nah, Robin Robin’s are large.” Well, that won’t be a problem for the Absolute Universe version of Robin — or Robins — as the full cover to Absolute Batman #20 has been revealed, and Robin is an absolute chonker.

In fact, it looks like five Robins in total are revealed on the cover to what DC teases is a “seminal issue,” which they should really see their doctor about. To broadly speculate, there’s a somewhat smaller one in blue with the medical cross, which seems likely to be Dick Grayson, a medic who has been pissed off about Batman throughout the series.

There’s also a purple one on a bike, who is likely Stephanie Brown, the yellow biker could be Duke Thomas, while the green biker might be Tim Drake. But what about the lorge mech Robin up front with the gun? That’s gotta be Jason Todd, right?

We’ll find out when Absolute Batman #20 hits stores on May 12, 2026.

Marvel Announces DNX Event:

Marvel is getting prepped to launch Queen in Black, their Venom-powered crossover, and Avengers: Armageddon, their big summer event. But they’re also prepping what looks to be an X-Men-focused event called DNX. But what is DNX?

While the publisher is promising more news this week, the book comes from Jed MacKay and Federico Vincentini, and hits stores in September. Also? The teaser image from Vincentini shows off a sort-of X-Men hazmat logo, the catchphrase “Evolution Is Contagious,” and most tellingly, Cyclops versus White Beast.

Pure speculation at this point, but if you haven’t been following X-Men, MacKay has been weaving a story of The Beast — the evil one who is leading an organization called 3K — discovering there’s a virus that turns everyone into mutants that goes very wrong in the future of the Age of Revelation event. He’s vowed to create the virus in the present, while Cyclops and his team of X-Men want to stop him.

Putting those puzzle pieces together, it seems likely that the virus is created and gets out, possibly leading to some new mutants, as well as a lot of deaths. Think Contagion meets the X-Men, and that’s my current best guess as to what’s going on here. It’s also a riff on “DNA” which you could probably figure out for yourself. And maybe DMX? We’ll find out soon enough.
