Marvel Comics and DC Comics are keeping the crossover train rolling with two new digital comics available right now: Supergirl/Blade from DC, and Jeff/Aquaman from Marvel.
The DC title, which is available now free-to-read from DC GO! in the first 30 days with a DC Universe Infinite registration, is written by CRC Payne, with art by Mikel Janín and Hugo Petrus, colors by Marcelo Maiolo, and letters by Pat Brosseau.
In the story, per PR from DC, “When Mojo kidnaps Supergirl and Blade to star in his latest over-the-top vampire romance series, the Girl of Steel and the Daywalker find themselves trapped on a soundstage where the cameras never stop rolling and the stakes are very real. Forced to battle bloodsucking foes, melodramatic tropes, and Mojo himself, the unlikely duo must team up and fight their way to freedom before the show’s final twist becomes their last.”
Meanwhile, the Marvel story is written by Kelly Thompson and drawn by Andres Genolet, and available now on Marvel Unlimited. In order to get a digital copy, use the code CROSSOVER26 at Marvel.com/redeem.
Per Marvel, “In IT’S JEFF/AQUAMAN, it’s no day at the beach when Ken the Kaiju terrorizes Coney Island! It’ll take the aquatic alliance you’ve only dared dream of to turn the tide, as everyone’s favorite Land Shark, Jeff, and the legendary Aquaman unite to save the day!”
This isn’t the first time Marvel and DC have released digital surprises like this… Previously, after the Deadpool/Batman and Batman/Deadpool books, the publishers dropped Thor/Shazam! and The Flash/Fantastic Four. This time, they come between the release of Superman/Spider-Man from DC, and the upcoming release of Spider-Man/Superman from Marvel.
