‘Invincible’ Voice Cast: Who’s Who In Season 4, Episode 6, From Thragg To Battle Beast

Invincible‘s Viltrumite War begins in earnest this week, and things are going pretty badly for our heroes — and villains. Wondering who’s who in the Viltrumite War in Season 4, Episode 6 “You Look Horrible,” from Thragg to Battle Beast? Read on.

Before we get there, though, a brief recap for context, and spoilers past this point (though you can get a longer Season 4, Episode 6 recap on our podcast). Picking up off the end of the last episode, Thaedus, leader of the Coalition of Planets fighting against the Viltrumite Empire, proposes war to the council. Meanwhile, Thragg, the Grand Regent of the Viltrumites (why is he Grand Regent and not Emperor? Well, that’s a big honkin’ secret), prepares for war as well.

Meanwhile, Nolan and Oliver are chilling on the alien planet where Mark had his intestines pulled out last episode by Conquest, and in case there was a question about it: yep, Conquest is dead, choked to death by Mark. Over the course of several months, while Mark is in a coma, Oliver and Nolan finally bond — tentatively — as Nolan trains him to fight, they kill worms to feed Mark (and themselves), and grow beards. Nolan and Mark grow beards to be clear; despite his advanced aging, Oliver isn’t quite there yet with facial hair.

As that is going on, Allen the Alien and Tech Jacket are hiding out in Zoe’s suit on the hull of a Viltrumite ship, Millennium Falcon style. They play video games and chill, until they get close enough to the Coalition to escape. They’re about to be overrun by Viltrumites until Space Racer and Battle Beast show up, saving the day. For now.

Back on the alien planet, Mark wakes up and is enraged that Nolan built a tomb for Conquest, as the guy is a monster. Nolan explains that Conquest was still a great warrior in the empire, diving down into the thorny moral quandaries the season has been dealing with.

Back on Talescria, in a big shocker we find out the mole who has been feeding info to the Viltrumites is none other than… Data Twin #2 (Fred Tatasciore), everyone’s favorite character. Data Twin #2 opens a small window in the planet’s defense shields, and the Viltrumites enter, attacking and wrecking whole swathes of the city-planet. That is until the Graysons show up in feel effect, and fight back, stopping a ship from falling on the city.

Uncharacteristically, Thragg calls for a retreat — after all, there’s less than 50 of the Viltrumites at this point. And that allows the Coalition to go on the offensive: It’s time to take the fight to Viltrum.

Then, in a very funny mid-credits scene, the camera ominously zooms in on Conquest’s grave. You expect that as the music spirals, his hand will pop out. But nope, Conquest is still dead.

Invincible Season 4, Episode 6 “You Look Horrible” Cast: Who’s Who In The Voice Cast?

As usual we won’t break down the main cast as you likely know who voices Invincible at this point. But let’s talk about some of the other folks.

Thragg is finally in full effect this episode, and he’s voiced by Lee Pace. You may know Pace from his role on Pushing Daisies as the Pie Man, or more recently in the very similar role as Emperor Day from Apple TV’s Foundation. He also recently starred in the Running Man reboot, as well as AMC’s beloved Halt and Catch Fire.

Battle Beast is back this week, and he’s voiced by the legendary Michael Dorn, aka Worf from Star Trek: The Next Generation and others. He also voices other Viltrumites. Speaking of which, Clancy Brown is back as the cyborg-eyed General Kregg, and (among other things) he voiced Damien Darkblood, as well as Mr. Krabs on SpongeBob. And Shantel VanSanten, who stars as Becca Butcher on The Boys is back as the Viltrumite Anissa.

She was introduced last week, but Zoey Deutch is the voice of Zoe, aka Tech Jacket, and you may know her from Set It Up or being the daughter of Lea Thompson. Winston Duke, M’Baku from the MCU, is also back as Space Racer. Tatiana Maslany, from Orphan Black and She-Hulk, is also back as Allen’s girlfriend Telia (and also the voice of Elia). And Optimus Prime himself, Peter Cullen, returns as Thaedus.

If you’re curious about the Data Twins, Data Twin #1 is voiced by Jay Pharaoh (from Saturday Night Live) and Data Twin #2 is voiced by Fred Tatasciore, who has voiced so many things but I mostly remember him as the animated Hulk.
