Marvel’s upcoming Reborn: Ultimate Impact will deal with the impact of the end of the Ultimate Universe as heroes are reborn in new forms. Now you understand the title! Anyway, the publisher is also revealing more of the new heroes — or villains — created by these boxes.
The publisher previously revealed two of the characters that will pop up in the series: the new Wonder Man, and Hostilicus, who seems to be wearing pieces of Annihilus. And now we know about two more… And maybe one beyond that.
Mogul seems to have the power, but not the girth or the armor of the Juggernaut, thanks to the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak lodged in his chest. And Sightseer somehow has the powers of Doctor Strange. The one we don’t see? That’s likely the antagonist of the upcoming Armageddon event, as one can intuit based on a teaser image that they have the powers of Captain Marvel. No, not Carol Danvers; Mar-Vell.
As for Hostilicus, word on the street is he’s an ex-pat from the Ultimate Universe, not a character from the 616 granted with an Origin Box featuring unused powers from the Ultimate Universe. Confusing? Don’t worry about it, you’ll find out more when Reborn: Ultimate Impact #1 hits stores on May 20, 2026.
