New Swamp Thing Collection Includes Previously Unreleased Material:
It’s a wild year for Swamp Thing fans, as DC will finally release Rick Veitch’s previously unreleased Swamp Thing ’89 as a four-issue series, and BOOM! and DC are teaming up for the crossover Swamp Thing Is Killing The Children. But the fun doesn’t stop there as more unreleased Swamp Thing material will be hitting, too.
Per ICv2, Swamp Thing: Dark Genesis is a two-volume set including Swamp Thing #1 through #25, as well as various one-shots and other issues. However, the real draw is likely a Patchwork Man story which originally was scheduled to run in House of Secrets #141, as well as Swamp Thing #25, which had completed script and pencils, but was never released. The former has been remastered with colors by Jose Villarubia, while the latter has been finished by Villarubia and artist Joe Rubenstein.
The 1,136 page set will hit stores on November 24, 2026, capping off a big year for Swampy.
Complete Run Of 1977 Star Wars Comics Up For Auction:
Big news for fans of Marvel’s classic, 1977 Star Wars comics: you can grab the complete set from Heritage Auctions.
In fact, the technically in-continuity (at the time) comics ran from 1977 through 1996, including issues #1 through #107, as well as three annuals, the four-issue Return of the Jedi adaptation, and two issues of Marvel Movie Showcase. Further sweetening the pot, they’re all in pristine shape, at CGC 9.8.
That’s far from the only items of interest for fans of the franchise… You can also snag issues signed by Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford, or original pieces of art from Howard Chaykin.
The auction will be held on — when else — Star Wars Day, on May 4, 2026.
Top Shelf Announces Marsh Fellows:
Top Shelf has announced a new graphic novel, The Marsh Fellows, from cartoonist Anna-Laura Sullivan.
Set after nuclear war, per PR, “the last beacon of hope is the island utopia called Slumber City. In this rainy, happy town, one angst-filled urchin doesn’t see what there is to smile about. But after being taken in by the elderly Marvin and Pearl, Urchin is pulled into their quest to solve the dark, damp riddles lurking outside Slumber City—and uncover the plans of its mysterious mayor.”
TikTok and Instagram famous, Sullivan is experimenting with a new style for the book, which hits stores on May 19, 2026.
