‘Invincible’ Voice Cast: Who’s Who In Season 4, Episode 1, Including Universa And Dinosaurus?

Invincible has returned for Season 4, and so has the best voice cast in the entire universe. And not only is the regular voice cast back for the season premiere, titled “Making The World A Better Place,” but there are some fun new additions as well. Wondering who is playing Universa or Dinosaurus? Read on.

Before we get there, though, a brief recap for context, and spoilers past this point (though you can get a longer Season 4 premiere recap on our podcast). In the episode, the world is still recovering from last season’s Invincible War, though time has passed — we know that because Oliver is a teen now, and somehow, Business Baby has returned.

Brit is leading the Guardians of the Globe, much to Robot’s consternation, but Mark has it even worse… And things get more awkward with the arrival of the eco-conscious Dinosaurus, who targets Invincible because he didn’t go far enough with decimating the world’s population. Invincible beats him, he turns back into a normal man, and our “hero” almost kills him in the process.

What follows is an awkward dinner with Invincible’s girlfriend, Atom Eve’s, parents, and she’s having problems of her own. Specifically, her constructs are turning to rainbow goo. What’s up with that?

Meanwhile, the Sequids, mind-controlling Martian squids, have begun building an army in the sewer led by former astronaut Rus, and have finally built up the numbers to emerge. Yuh-oh! The Guardians of the Globe move to stop the Sequids, with Robot going rogue in the sewer to try and save a few people, against Brit’s wishes.

And while that is going on, Invincible and Atom Eve head to a power plant to stop a green lady named Universa from stealing all the world’s power. They do stop her, and Invincible heads to help with the Sequid problem, killing Rus mere moments before Bulletproof can save the day. Oh, and in a mid-credits scene, Conquest wakes up and gets free from the flimsy prison Cecil locked him in.

Invincible Season 4, Episode 1 “Making The World A Better Place” Cast: Who’s Who In The Voice Cast?

Most of the cast is the same as previous seasons, so we won’t break down absolutely everyone. But for some highlights, let’s start with Jonathan Banks, who returns with a bigger role as Brit. You probably know Banks from his role on Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul as fixer Mike Ehrmantraut.

Christian Convery also returns as the voice of Oliver, and despite the less squeaky voice it’s the same kid — now a teen, just like Convery, who played the sweet-natured Gus on Netflix’s Sweet Tooth.

New to the cast is The Walking Dead and MCU star Danai Gurira as Universa, aka the green lady. Also new to the cast, Matthew Rhys is Dinosaurus and David. You likely know Rhys from his role on The Americans, or recently on Netflix’s The Beast in Me. Maybe that beast is a dinosaur!

Fear the Walking Dead star Cliff Curtis is also back as normal real estate agent Paul, The Walking Dead: Dead City star Jeffrey Dean Morgan returns (briefly) as Conquest, and Ben Schwartz, who should really look into voicing Sonic the Hedgehog in Sonic The Walking Dead, is the voices of both Rus and Shapesmith.

Season 4 of Invincible will premiere on Prime Video on Wednesday, March 18 at 3 am ET / 12 am PT with three new episodes. New episodes will then roll out one a week until the season finale on April 22, 2026.
