DC Comics Dominates February 2026 Comic Book Sales Chart:

DC Comics once again took a commanding lead on the February, 2026 single issue sale chart, with — no surprise — Absolute Batman #17 at the top of the heap.

Per ICv2, DC took nearly the entire Top 10 on the sales chart, with DC K.O. #4 coming in at number two, Batman #6 at number three, the Absolute Wonder Woman annual at number four, DC K.O. Boss Battle at number five, and Absolute Superman #16 at number six.

In total, DC took 18 slots on the list, down from the previous few months, with Marvel taking 28 slots, though mostly in the middle and lower portions of the list. In the Top 10 was Ultimate Spider-Man #24, the final issue, at number seven, and Ultimate Endgame #2, at number 10.

As for other publishers, Image Comics ranked for Transformers #29, Exquisite Corpses #10, and G.I. Joe #19. And IDW snuck in at the number 49 slot with the latest issue of TMNT.

Ram V And Company Reveal New Deicidium Details:

We already knew that writer Ram V and artists Evan Cagle and Anand RK are working on a massive new graphic novel series. And now, we know a few more details about what to expect.

Titled Deicidium, per AIPT, the nine-volume series is set in the future, in a world where the old gods have returned and manifested in human form. So definitely in the whole Ram V/Cagle/Anand RK wheelhouse, as the team has worked on books about gods returning to Earth multiple times, from The Many Deaths of Laila Starr to DC’s recent New Gods.

Said Ram V, “Deicidium is a story borne out of my obsession with world mythologies and a desire to distinguish between the innocent power of stories and the power exercised by turning them into dogma.”

The first volume will be published worldwide by French publisher, Morgen, later this year, as well as in English-language territories by Image Comics. But if you’re aching for a taste, Image will release a preview on Free Comic Book Day, on May 2.

Chainsaw Man Ending:

The best-selling manga Chainsaw Man has sawed its last! Per io9, Viz Media has confirmed that Tatsuki Fujimoto‘s manga will complete its run with Chapter 232 on March 25.

Running since 2018, the book focuses on a boy who makes a pact with a demon to gain the ability to turn his body in chainsaws, only to use the power to hunt down other demons. Per The Beat, Chainsaw Man has been nominated for an Eisner, won two Harvey Awards, and spawned an also extremely successful anime adaptation.

While 23 volumes of the Manga have been released internationally, only 20 have been released domestically, with Volume 21 hitting stores in June, Volume 22 in October, with 23 and the final volume to be released on TBA dates.
