The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are back! But not the ones from TV, the regular ones from comics, in a new line of variant covers spotlights Marvel’s Stormbreaker artists.
Throughout titles debuting in April, and tying in — or at least riffing off of — the new version of S.H.I.E.L.D. that debuted in Chip Zdarsky and Valerio Schiti’s Captain America, you’ll get a glimpse of what it would be like if other characters got recruited by Nick Fury. Specifically, inspired not by the new version, but the OG, in the style of Jim Steranko’s 1960s covers for Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Those artists include Alessandro Cappuccio, Netho Diaz, Simone Di Meo, Juan Frigeri, Gurihiru, Jonas Scharf, Geoff Shaw, and Luciano Vecchio. And the characters included range from Cyclops and The Thing, to Boom Boom and Wolverine.
