Marvel Celebrates Civil War (The Fictional One) With Hero Vs. Hero Cover Variants

250 years in, America is more divided than its ever been. From culture wars to actual ones, neighbor has turned against neighbor, parents against children, hero against hero. And to celebrate this burgeoning Civil War that threatens to end America before we hit year 251, Marvel is launching Civil War Celebration Variant Covers!

…Oh wait, I’m hearing these are to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the fictional Marvel Comics event, Civil War. Never mind! Weird timing!

In any case, the upcoming covers will roll out in May, timed to the release of Christos Gage and Edgar Salazar’s new Civil War anthology series, “Unmasked.” In the covers, you’ll see memorable match-ups from the event like Captain America vs. Spider-Man, and [honestly forgot this was a thing] the clone of Thor vs. Hercules, as well as new match-ups like Storm vs. Ms. Marvel, Cyclops vs. Wonder Man, and Stephen Miller vs. The Concept Of Democracy. Ha ha ha, just kidding on that last one. We do have fun here.
