When you think of Daredevil (Charlie Cox) on Disney+’s Marvel series Daredevil: Born Again, what’s your first thought? That he eats a spicy pizza pie and is always yelling “mama mia, that’s a spicy pizza pie!” If that is your first thought, well, great news: Blaze Pizza is releasing the “Sweet Heat” pizza in stores starting today to celebrate the upcoming release of the second season of the series.
Available across the US and Canada, the pizza has all of Daredevil’s favorite ingredients: rooftop dirt, blood, and of course, Catholic guilt. Just kidding, it has, per PR from the chain, “The flavor-packed build features spicy red sauce, double pepperoni, roasted red peppers, fresh mozzarella and a drizzle of Mike’s Hot Honey for the perfect balance of heat and sweetness.”
While the pizza is out today, Blaze Pizza will also release weekly drops to celebrate new episodes, and that’s pretty funny because Disney A) seemed to imply the show was getting a binge drop, and B) did not respond to request for clarification when asked. So thank you, Blaze Pizza, for seemingly confirming that Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 will drop episodes weekly through May, and not all at once on a random Tuesday in March. Anyway, Blaze will offer loyalty members “Bonus Flames” including discounts on the Sweet Heat pizza, and the ability to watch your girlfriend die in front of you for motivation. Again, I’m kidding.
“This collaboration is about more than just a pizza, it’s about creating an experience our guests can engage with week after week,” said Casey Terrell, Chief Marketing Officer at Blaze Pizza said via press release provided to Comic Book Club. “Daredevil is bold, intense and unapologetic, and the ‘Sweet Heat’ delivers that same energy in every bite. From weekly app drops to a limited-edition Marvel comic available at select locations, we’re giving fans something they can’t get anywhere else.”

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 premieres on Tuesday March 24 on Disney+ at 9pm ET / 6pm PT. Disney has not announced the full schedule of episodes, but if they do release weekly they’ll do so on the below schedule.
