The big story out of Image Comics lately? Speculation is back, baby! Thanks to surprise sell-outs for two relatively under-the-radar titles, the question that’s arisen is: are the ’90s back? Are we all wearing flannel now??
Well, probably not, but Image does have new hits worth checking out which we’ll highlight below. Plus, there’s always the Energon Universe, as well as plenty of other great titles to enjoy. Oh, and one… Marvel book?
It’s all true, and we’ll break it all down below as we highlight our most anticipated Image Comics books coming out in March of 2026, presented in chronological release order.
1. Marvel Team-Up #14

Release Date: March 4, 2026
Wait, huh? That can’t be right! Yet it is! Image Comics will reprint Marvel Team-Up #14, which crossed over Spider-Man and Invincible, in a facsimile edition before it ends up in the new Invincible Omnibus.
2. Narco #1

Release Date: March 4, 2026
Doug Wagner and Daniel Hillyard make some of the weirdest comics around (complimentary) and that looks like it’ll continue with this new one about a man with narcolepsy accused of murder.
3. Sleep #8

Release Date: March 4, 2026
If I had a nickel for every time Image Comics released a book about a murderous narcoleptic, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t much, but it’s weird that’s happened twice. Anyway, Zander Cannon’s superb series wraps up with this issue.
4. D’Orc #2

Release Date: March 11, 2026
The first surprise massive Image Comics sell-out success? Brett Bean’s comedy book about a half orc, half dwarf who may change the world. Let’s see if the D’orc train continues this issue (it already sold out at the distributor level, so: probably).
5. Transformers #30

Release Date: March 11, 2026
Don’t know if you’ve heard of these guys, but they’re more than meets the eye.
6. Tigress Island #1

Release Date: March 11, 2026
This exploitation book finds a bunch of actresses kidnapped and taken to an island prison. It comes from Patrick Kindlon and EPHK, and seems like a silly good time.
7. Exquisite Corpses #11

Release Date: March 18, 2026
Che Grayson and Gavin Fullerton join this issue, as the tournament to declare the new King of the World comes close to its climax.
8. G.I. Joe #20

Release Date: March 18, 2026
Truck Daddy meets Joe Daddy in the issue everyone has been waiting for.
9. Super Creepshow #1

Release Date: March 18, 2026
The super-horror anthology returns, this time with Kieron Gillen, Ryan North and more.
10. Wrestle Heist #4

Release Date: March 18, 2026
One of the best books currently on the stands, Kyle Starks’ latest will suplex you into a state of comic book bliss.
11. The Department of Truth #36

Release Date: March 25, 2026
Ben Templesmith joins this issue in what feels like such a good fit it’s surprising it didn’t happen yet.
12. Feral #21

Release Date: March 25, 2026
In a tribute to the classic G.I. Joe issue, Feral presents a silent interlude that may also feature a Stray Dogs crossover.
13. White Sky #2

Release Date: March 25, 2026
The other surprise sell-out on this list, it’ll be interesting to see if this cold ghost apocalypse book will also hold up in issue two.
