Marvel is in an interesting spot in March. The Ultimate Universe was building to a crescendo in April, but will now end in June. The publisher’s big summer event, Armageddon, is still ramping up. So what comics are there to look forward to in March? No comics???
Nah, don’t worry. We’ve still got a list of 11 titles to get you amped up this month from the House of Ideas, ranging from, yes, Ultimate Universe titles, to an MCU tie-in, a Spider-Man crossover, and more. So let’s get into it, with our most anticipated Marvel books of March, presented in chronological release order.
1. Amazing Spider-Man #23

Release Date: March 4, 2026
After a rock-solid one-shot, the Death Spiral crossover begins in earnest as Spider-Man battles Venom, not knowing she’s Mary Jane. There’s also Carnage and a new villain called Torment in the mix, and several issues of this roll out this month, but only through issues of Amazing Spider-Man and Venom.
2. The Avengers #36

Release Date: March 4, 2026
Jed MacKay’s run on Avengers wraps up this issue, tying together all his storylines and potentially putting Avengers on a shelf until much later this year, post-Armageddon.
3. Moonstar #1

Release Date: March 4, 2026
Dani Moonstar is getting her own series, and even better, it’s written by Ashley Allen, who has been crushing it lately.
4. X-Men United #1

Release Date: March 11, 2026
One of the more unique concepts of the current X-Men era, Emma Frost opens up a school… Of the mind.
5. Alias: Red Band #1

Release Date: March 11, 2026
Jessica Jones returns in a new Red Band series from Sam Humphries and Geraldo Borges, and it’s always good to have the caustic PI back in action.
6. Imperial Guardians #1

Release Date: March 11, 2026
A new, darker riff on Guardians of the Galaxy finds the team working for Maximus the Mad… But to what end? The headline here is Dan Abnett returns to cosmic Marvel, a space he helped redefine years ago.
7. The Ultimates #22

Release Date: March 18, 2026
As the Ultimate Universe wraps up, writer Deniz Camp has been revisiting various ideas he seeded through his run. Here, that Bucky is the Red Skull; and this issue, Captain America deals with that.
8. Ultimate Wolverine #15

Release Date: March 18, 2026
In the second-to-last issue of this title, Wolverine becomes the Winter Soldier once again. Oh no!
9. The Sentry #1

Release Date: March 18, 2026
Back when The Sentry was created, it was an odd little title by Paul Jenkins and Jae Lee that explored a mental-health challenged superhero with nuance and gravity. Nobody has quite “gotten” the character since… And now Jenkins is back, to (potentially) redefine him, once again.
10. Ultimate Endgame #3

Release Date: March 25, 2026
This has been an odd event series, but every issue is still a must-read as its providing the spine that will get broken when the Ultimate Universe ends, now in June.
11. The Fantastic Four: First Foes #1

Release Date: March 25, 2026
Picking up on the MCU tie-in from last year, Marvel will release four one-shots set in the continuity of Fantastic Four: First Steps. Here, Dan Slott and Mark Buckingham take on the Mad Thinker (and for more on that you can listen to our recent pdocast with Slott).
