The shortest month is finally over, but we’re ready to go long on comics, whatever that means. So if you’re looking for a list of new comics this week for February 25, 2026, here it ’tis! But first, some highlights.
Marvel kicks off yet another event with Amazing Spider-Man/Venom: Death Spiral #1 which pits the title characters versus a super serial killer. Speaking of which, The Punisher #1 kicks off a new ongoing title about a guy who is definitely not a serial killer, cough, cough. And The Ultimates #21 focuses on Luke Cage and the New Avengers.
DC Comics shows how Static and friends came to the DCU in New History of the DC Universe: The Dakota Incident #1. This week’s Vertigo title is a noir adventure from Chris Condon and Jacob Phillips titled The Peril of the Brutal Dark: An Ezra Cain Mystery #1. And Absolute Wonder Woman #17 pits Diana versus the Ultimate Suicide Squad.
Oni Press brings on Murder Drones #1, the comic book adaptation of the massive hit animated series from Glitch Productions. IDW has a brand new Dave Stevens story with The Rocketeer: The Island #1. And in sleep he calls to me, as Skybound reveals Universal Monsters: Phantom of the Opera #1.
