Hey, it’s February, aka the weirdest month! And this first week does have new comics, but the pickings for February 4, 2026 are a little slimmer than usual, so let’s get into it.
DC Comics has a wild week, headlined by DC K.O. Boss Battle #1, which brings multiversal challengers to take on the DC heroes and villains like Homelander from The Boys and Annabelle from The Conjuring. Meanwhile, DC x AEW #1 does what the title says, and finally introduces some over-muscled people in tights into the DC Universe. And the iconic Vertigo imprint is finally back with the debut of The Nice House By The Sea #7.
Over at Marvel, Planet of the Apes vs. The Fantastic Four #1 is definitely the weirdest crossover we’ve seen since Annabelle took on The Joker at DC. Godzilla: Infinity Roar #1 sends the King of the Monsters to space and gives him a symbiote, because why not? And Ultimate Endgame #2 reveals how villain The Maker turned into a tree.
Dynamite and Archie Comics team up for Archie x Army of Darkness #1, the weirdest crossover since Planet of the Apes took on Fantastic Four. They’ve also got Thundarr The Barbarian #1 from writer Jason Aaron about a Conan-esque character in space. And Image Comics releases D’Orc #1, a comedy fantasy book from I Hate Fairyland artist Brett Bean.
