The murdering and the drones will continue until morale improves. After our exclusive first look at Murder Drones #1 from Oni Press, we’re pleased to bring you the exclusive cover(s) reveal for Murder Drones #2, which will hit comic book stores in March.
Based on the hit animated series created by Liam Vickers, the comic is written by Wyatt Kennedy with art by Jo Mi-Gyeong. And in issue #2, things are amping up as Uzi and Disassembly Drone N team up on Copper-9. Don’t know what that means? Don’t worry, you’ve got plenty of time to stream the series before the comic starts dropping next year.
Murder Drones #2 hits stores on March 25, 2026, with covers by Alessio Zonno, Jo Mi;Gyeong, and Patricia Martín. Check them out, as well as synopsis and solicit info, below.
Following the mass annihilation of the human race as we know it, Copper-9, one of the many solar colonies, stands in ruins, but beneath the surface a race of surviving worker drones has built a life for themselves with purpose, schools, doors, and card games! Teenage drone Uzi has made an unlikely bestie in Disassembly Drone N, whose primary purpose, until very recently, was to destroy the worker drones! But it’s not just prom dates and hormones for these two wacky kids. A mysterious force continues to stalk the drone population from within, leaving a bloody trail of bodies in its wake. It’s a real drag!
