Ghost Riders Unite For Marvel’s ‘Spirits Of Violence’

Spirits of Violence #1 cover

There have been a lot of Ghost Riders in the history of Marvel Comics. And pretty much all of them are getting together in the new series, Spirits of Violence.

Written by Sabir Pirzada with art by Paul Davidson, the book will follow up on the events of Spirits of Vengeance and unite: Johnny Blaze, Danny Ketch, Kushala, Hellverine, newcomer Fantasma, and Robbie Reyes, back from his exile in the pages of Avengers. But why is he back? And why are ol’ flamin’ skull-heads back together? To battle the Spirit of Violence, of course.

“Those who read our previous series, Spirits of Vengeance, already know that the host for the Spirit of Violence is none other than Barbara Ketch,” teased Pirzada. “That’s right! Danny’s sister has returned from the dead, and she’s already killed Linda Littletrees. That was always intended to be the kickoff to what I’m referring to as the ‘Violent Era’ of Ghost Rider, where all bets are off. The end of issue 2 in particular will prove that we are not playing it safe.”

The first issue will feature a main cover by Kendrick “Kunkka” Lim, with variant covers by Simone Bianchi, E.M. Gist, and Peach Momoko. You can check them and the synopsis for the issue out, below. Spirits of Violence #1 hits stores on October 1.
