New Comics This Week: Full Comics List For July 9, 2025

It’s another week, and so we’ve got — get this — new comics this week for July 9, 2025. Let’s talk highlights, and then the full list follows.

If you’re a fan of Marvel’s first family, this is your week. First up is Fantastic Four #1 from Ryan North and Humberto Ramos, which finds the team lost in time. Then there’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps #1, which is an in-universe prequel by Matt Fraction and Mark Buckingham. And if you just want to see nearly nude superheroes, check out Marvel Swimsuit Special: Friends, Foes and Rivals.

Over at DC Comics, it’s Superman week with the over-sized Superman Treasury 2025: Hero for All #1 featuring a new story by Dan Jurgens and Bruno Redondo. Batman: Dark Patterns #8 continues the best Batman book on the stands from Dan Watters and Hayden Sherman. And Kal-El joins the Omega Men in Absolute Superman #9.

One of the biggest hits of last year gets a sequel from IDW as killer bear Samantha returns in Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees: Rite of Spring #1. Archie Meets Jay and Silent Bob in a one-shot from Kevin Smith. And Oni Press’ first ever crossover for the franchise kicks off in Rick & Morty Vs. The Universe #1.
