June is almost over, but there’s still one more week to go, so let’s get into the new comics this week for June 25, 2025! Yeah, baby, yeah! Austin Powers! Remember him? Anyway.
Marvel continues their X-Men event with Giant-Size Age of Apocalypse, which sends Ms. Marvel and Legion to the timeline and teases a new series featuring the Apocalypse X-Men. Fantastic Four #33 is the final issue of the title, other than next month when the publisher launches a new Fantastic Four #1. And in Ultimate Spider-Man #18, the Sinister Six go to war.
DC Comics begins the prestige format New History of the DC Universe from Mark Waid. Justice League Unlimited #6 finishes off the “We Are Yesterday” crossover, also from Mark Waid. And in a rare “not by Mark Waid” book, Absolute Martian Manhunter #4 continues to be an absolute must-read.
From IDW, Godzilla: Escape the Deadzone #1 continues the intriguing new Kai-Sei era. Lazarus: Fallen #1 from Image begins the final arc of Greg Rucka and Michael Lark’s landmark sci-fi story. And Skybound releases Clementine, Book 3, the final volume of the YA Walking Dead series.
