Maria Llovet has made a name for herself with the erotic supernatural thriller Violent Flowers, the erotic assassin thriller All The Things We Didn’t Do Last Night, and the erotic tech thriller Crave. And now she’s mixing Fatal Attraction and The Terminator with the erotic robot thriller Artificial #1.
“Artificial is part sci-fi thriller, part toxic romance. It’s a twisted love story for the age of AI—and I can’t wait for readers to lose themselves in it,” said Llovet via a press release.
The new series won’t hit stores until September from Image Comics, but you can check out a safe for work preview below, as well as covers by Llovet and Jesús Orellana.

At the center is Clara, a jaded fashion stylist who signs up for an advanced dating service that provides hyper-realistic android partners. But when her robotic dream date malfunctions and turns dangerously possessive, Clara is forced into a chilling fight for her freedom — and her life.
