New Comics This Week: Full Comics List For May 7, 2025

May is finally here, and there are a slew of new comics this week for May 7, 2025. We’ve got some highlights below, followed by the full list of comic books hitting shops.

Marvel introduces a new sci-fi franchise with Star Wars #1, a book about some folks in a galaxy far, far away. Sounds intriguing! There’s also Fantastic Four Fanfare #1, which has all-star teams telling stories of Marvel’s first family from back in the day. And It’s Jeff! Jeff Week #1 lets the Marvel Rivals star shine in a new one-shot.

DC Comics wraps up the brawl to end them all in Black Canary: The Best of the Best #6. And two titles are hitting from the Absolute Universe: Absolute Superman #7, which reveals all about the new Brainiac; and Absolute Green Lantern #2, deepening the mystery of the Black Hand.

Dynamite brings a lot of heart in Captain Planet #1. Image Comics launches Blood & Thunder #1, which is co-created by Robert Kirkman. And James Robinson launches a new title at Dark Horse with Los Monstrous #1.
