Marvel July 2025 Solicit Highlights:

It’s time to take a dive into the solicits for Marvel’s July 2025 releases, text and covers sent to retailers and press to hype up their upcoming releases. And with Fantastic Four: First Steps hitting theaters the same month, oh you know there’s a lot of FF going on.

First up is a brand-new Fantastic Four #1 by the same-old Fantastic Four writer, Ryan North, continuing his same-old Fantastic Four run paired with artist Humberto Ramos. Fantastic Four Fanfare #3 tells stories from the team’s history, from top-tier creative teams. And Fantastic Four: First Steps is an in-continuity comic about the film team, written by Matt Fraction with art by Mark Buckingham.

FF isn’t the only characters getting a revamp. Captain America #1 hits stores just in time for July 4th from writer Chip Zdarsky and artist Valerio Schiti. Godzilla also celebrates the birth of America in Godzilla Destroys The Marvel Universe, a new five-issue series from Gerry Duggan and Javier Garrón. And Thor dies in Immortal Thor #25, at least until August when he’s probably back in a new #1 issue.

Over in the X-Men side of the universe, Giant-Size House of M and Giant-Size X-Men #2 finish up Kamala Khan’s journey through history, as she solves a mystery involving the X-Men’s past. Wolverines & Deadpools #1 teams up the title characters with their “daughters.” X-Men: Hellfire Vigil presents a wake for Krakoa, instead of the annual party. And X-Men by Chris Claremont: Prelude to a Future Past #1 reprints the story that originally only appeared in a high-end collection of Days of Future Past.

More crossovers that take place in a series of one-shots? Sure! Bring on the Bad Guys continues with issues focusing on Green Goblin, Abomination, and Loki, with classic looks at the baddies. And crossovers that are actually miniseries? Sure as well! Imperial #2 continues Jonathan Hickman’s mystery of who is killing the emperors of the cosmic side of the universe. And Marvel Knights: The World To Come #2 continues Christopher Priest and Joe Quesada’s future-set tale of the new Black Panther.

The Marvel Swimsuit Special: Friends, Foes & Rivals brings back the ’90s classic with a framing story by Tim Seeley and Tony Fleecs. Werewolf By Night: Blood Moon Rise #1 is a one-shot by Michael Giacchino, who created the Disney+ special. G.O.D.S.: One World Under Doom #1 brings the Hickman characters back, this time from writer Ryan North. And it’s a big month for Jeff The Land Shark with It’s Jeff: Infinity Paws #1, and Jeff The Land Shark #2 both hitting stands.
