Tom Sniegoski Returns To ‘Vampirella’ For ‘Armageddon’

Vampirella Armageddon

Tom Sniegoski is coming back to Vampirella for a brand new series, Vampirella: Armageddon. And you won’t want to miss a thing.

The Dynamite series will be written by Sniegoski, with art by Kewber Baal, and find Vampirella in the post-apocalyptic Sepulcher City.

“It’s like slipping into a nice warm sweater,” Sniegoski said about returning to Vampirella, via press release provided to Comic Book Club. “Out of all the characters I’ve written, I seem to find her the most comfortable to write. I just get her — her, and the world in which she lives. It’s always a blast sitting down to come up with her next adventures.”

In the book both humans and supernatural creatures live in the city, with Vampirella as their protector. In fact, she’s working as a P.I. with a werewolf partner named Dagwood. But when a busload of immigrants go missing, she’ll have to figure out where they went, how it connects to her past, and becomes embroiled in a war being waged in Hell.

Vampirella: Armageddon #1 hits stores in July with variant covers by Francesco Mattina, Lesley “Leirix” Li, and Joseph Michael Linsner, plus a cosplay cover by Rachel Hollon, and another connecting cover by Mark Spears. Check them out below alongside interior art, and click for larger versions.
