Another week, more new comics. Hooray!! And we’ve got a list of the new comics this week for April 16, 2025. Check out some highlights, then the full list, below.
Marvel has a bunch of new number one issues, but the biggie is Wolverine #8, which is legacy numbered as #400 and promises to reveal a shocking secret about Logan’s past. Meanwhile, Godzilla vs. Hulk #1 should be a smashtacular. And Superior Avengers #1 looks to have a Thunderbolts-style twist, and ties into One World Under Doom.
DC Comics has the Summer of Superman Special #1, teasing the big events coming for the Man of Steel over the next few months. Wonder Woman #20 has a murder mystery investigated by Diana and Batman. And Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #38 begins the “We Are Yesterday” crossover event.
From other publishers, Oni Press has a beautifully written and drawn graphic novel titled Hey Mary! about a teen trying to reconcile his sexuality with his religion. IDW’s Mothra: Queen Of the Monsters #2 continues a time-traveling adventure to save the kaiju in the title. And Image Comics’s Moonshine Bigfoot #1 has the best title of the week.
