Candace Has Demons In Her Pants In Marvel’s ‘Phineas And Ferb’ Variant Covers

Move over, squirrels! Candace has demons in her pants — or at least, near her pants — in a new series of Marvel Comics Phineas And Ferb Variant Covers that will hit stores in June.

Timed to celebrate the highly anticipated return of the classic animated series this summer, the publisher will roll out covers drawn by Jacob Chabot, as well as Phineas And Ferb co-creator, executive producer, and voice actor, Dan Povenmire.

The covers include tributes to Rick Leonardi’s New Mutants #50, Jim Steranko’s Strange Tales #167, and John Romita’s Marvel Treasury Edition #2 covers. In the first, which will roll out on X-Men #17, Candace takes on the role of Magik, fighting demons in Limbo. Then on Avengers #27, Perry the Platypus takes the role of Nick Fury. And a third cover (not provided by Marvel) on Fantastic Four #33 will show Phineas, Ferb, Isabella, and Buford in the roles of Marvel’s First Family. Can one of those weird What If…? issues be far behind?
