Alien Books Exclusive Preview: Black Star

Back in 1979, Black Star was published in France. Now, for the first time, the sci-fi classic will debut in English from Alien Books this Wednesday… And Comic Book Club has an exclusive preview of the book.

Written by Ricardo Barreiro, with art by Juan Gimenez, the new printing will feature a main cover by Ariel Olivetti, and a variant by Gimenez. In the book, a young motorist meets a man who helps him escape from imperial guards. Along with a “strong-minded” robot and a pilot, they uncover deeply held secrets in the galaxy.

The book runs 56 pages, is an oversized 8.5″ x 11″, and costs $12.99. Check out the preview, below.
