This week’s episode of Harley Quinn split up Ivy and Harley (just physically! not romantically! calm down!) for two adventures that brought them closer together with their families in the appropriately named “Family Feud.” But who’s who in the voice cast? Read on.
First some recap for the episode for context, and spoilers past this point. Things kick off with Harley’s dad calling to tell her that her mother died — but when she arrives home, her mother is not dead. Instead, Lena Luthor hired Harley’s dad Nick to kill her. And Nick hired a Helper Guy to do some surgery and steal her organs. Harley, naturally, breaks free, kills the Helper Guy, and then kills more guys… With Harley’s dad getting killed in the process.
Meanwhile, Ivy is dealing with a near catatonic Bruce Wayne who is drinking melted ice cream by the carton after his breakup with Lena. Frustrated, Ivy goes to Lena’s place and discovers her security software is a robot named G.A.I.L. (Geriatric Android Interface Lady). After an enormous fight, Ivy takes G.A.I.L. down with a teabag, only to discover the teleport device Ivy needs to get on Brainiac’s spaceship to kill Lena and rescue Frankette is broken.
Instead, Lena sense automatons to kill Ivy, and while in Lena’s office discovers the Luthor’s journal. She discovers that Lena’s plan is to piss off Lex Luthor by making part of Metropolis into Tealtown (he hates that color), and setting up a store that only sells salt (he hates that too). And when they’re reunited, Harley puts her experiences together with Ivy’s and realizes that Lena craves Lex’s approval.
So what do they do? They break Lex out of Blackgate prison, with Harley’s mom waiting behind the car. Only by the time they get back to the city… It’s too late. Lena has already bottled Metropolis.

Harley Quinn Season 5, Episode 8 “Family Feud” Cast: Who’s Who In The Voice Cast?
It’s a smaller cast than usual, though you know the drill: Kaley Cuoco is Harley Quinn, Lake Bell is Poison Ivy, Diedrich Bader is Bruce Wayne, Stephen Fry is Brainiac, and Aisha Tyler is Lena Luthor. We’ve discussed all those more in previous breakdowns, which are linked above.
Let’s talk about one voice that is not in this episode: Lex Luthor. It’s TBD who will voice Lex in future episodes, if at all, but previously in the series Giancarlo Esposito has voiced the character. And on Kite Man: Hell Yeah! Lance Reddick took over, until he sadly passed away, with the final two episode featuring the voice of Amuche Chukudebulu.
What about G.A.I.L.? That’s none other than the fantastic Paula Pell. She’s been on 30 Rock, A.P. Bio, and the late, great Girls5Eva. She also voiced “Mom’s Anger” in Inside Out 2, and plays the role of Paula Persimmon on the spinoff, Dream Productions.
Harley’s parents return this episode from previous seasons. Charlie Adler is the voice of her dad, Nick, though you might also know him as Buster Bunny from Tiny Toon Adventures or MODOK on several Marvel animated shows. Susie Essman is the voice of Harley’s mom, Sharon, and you likely know her best as Susie Greene from Curb Your Enthusiasm.
