Invincible got even darker than usual on this week’s episode, with the introduction of a new villain, Powerplex. But who’s who in the Invincible voice cast for Season 3, Episode 6, “All I Can Say Is I’m Sorry”? Read on.
But first, a brief bit of recap for the episode, to provide context. And spoilers past this point. Things start waaay back during Season 1 of the series, as we follow a guy — we later learn it’s Scott, who even later is called Powerplex — as he hangs out with his sister and daughter. One problem: this is right before the massive Invincible/Omni-Man fight, and they’re caught in the crossfire, with Scott’s family dying. Unfortunately, he’s not able to get what he wants afterwards: to be Invincible on trial.
That’s when he joins the GDA, and we find out how he’s slowly being working to take down our “hero” during this entire time. He can translate impact to power, and working with his wife (they have a baby, more on that later) manages to power himself up exponentially. He thinks he’s ready to take on Invincible, but he can’t even take out Shapesmith.
While all this is going on, Oliver is training with Mark and Eve, William turns out to be great at bowling, and we meet Amber’s new boyfriend Kyle — who loves Seance Dog, just like Mark. But the biggest side bit? Robot figures out how to cure Monster Girl — or at least create a belt that halts the spell that deages her every time she turns into her monster form. Oh, and Shrinking Rae quits, while Rex doesn’t — though they do kiss, and we discover his full name is Rex Sloane.
Anyway, back to Powerplex. During a memorial for the victims of Omni-Man’s Chicago attack, Powerplex arrives. Eve suits up, takes him on, and the Guardians take him into custody… But he escapes, and pretends to take his wife and baby hostage to call out Mark.
Finally, Invincible shows up, but he won’t fight back because Powerplex is right to be mad. Powerplex won’t listen to him, and ends up exploding with electricity, frying his wife and baby in the process. They take him to jail, but he still blames Invincible and swears vengeance.
And the stinger? The mysterious sphere is back… But it’s not so mysterious. It’s Angstrom Levy, watching Invincible. And he’s got an army of Invincibles at his disposal. The Invincible War is coming…

Invincible Season 3, Episode 6 “All I Can Say Is I’m Sorry” Cast: Who’s Who In The Voice Cast?
We won’t break down the returning cast (you can check out previous breakdowns for that). But let’s discuss who’s who in the new cast for this episode!
First and foremost, your ears did not deceive you: that is indeed Aaron Paul as Powerplex, aka Scott Duvall. Paul is probably best known for playing Jesse Pinkman on Breaking Bad and spinoffs, though he also did the voice of Todd Chavez on BoJack Horseman, starred in Westworld, and the sixth season of Black Mirror in the episode “Beyond the Sea.”
Scott’s wife Becky is voiced by Kate Mara, who was Zoe on House of Cards, Shari on 24, and recently starred on FX’s A Teacher. You nerds might know her as Sue Storm in the 2015 Fantastic Four, or as a US Marshal in Iron Man 2. Perhaps not coincidentally, she played the wife of Aaron Paul’s character on the aforementioned episode of Black Mirror.
Kyle, Amber’s new dude, is voiced by The Walking Dead alum Khary Payton. He played Ezekiel on that show, and previously on Invincible has voiced Black Sampson, among other characters. But his voice might actually be best known by this point as Cyborg on multiple iterations of Teen Titans, including Teen Titans GO!
They’ve been on the show — and this season — before, but since it’s been a bit, William is voiced by Andrew Rannells, and his boyfriend Rick is Luke MacFarlane. You might know Rannells from Girls, Big Mouth, or The Prom, while MacFarlane co-starred with Billy Eichner in Bros.
Jessica Duvall, Scott’s doomed sister, is voiced by Heather Gonzalez. She’s done voices for a number of video games including Monster Hunters: Rise and Smite. And Gretchen Duvall, her daughter, is voiced by Daphne Diamantopoulos, one of Chris Diamantopoulos’s daughters. Last week, his son Rex Diamantopoulos did a voice, so this is really becoming a family affair.
John DiMaggio, the voice of Bender on Futurama and Jake the Dog on Adventure Time, is once again the voice of The Elephant, the villain Oliver is trained on by Invincible and Eve.
And yes, once again that is This Is Us and Paradise star Sterling K. Brown as Angstrom Levy.
