IMMORTAL THOR #23 crop

As teased just a few days back, Marvel is definitely hinting that Thor is gonna die later this year. Which is weird, because he’s immortal, right? But as the publisher shared, starting in The Immortal Thor #23, the god of thunder will take his last stand.

Written by Al Ewing with art by Jan Bazaldua, the story will run through The Immortal Thor #25 whch will, per PR, “result in a bold transformation of Ewing’s continuing work on the title.”

Intriguing! You can check out the solicit info and cover, below. The Immortal Thor #23 hits stores on May 14.

GODWAR!

The All-Father had battled to the middle of the endless city – and now he faced the beast at the center of the maze. Kemur, who was bull and hawk and serpent, who was fire and the sword, now faced Thor Odinson…and perhaps neither would survive. This is the story of the IMMORTAL THOR…and the God of Violence.
