The Invincible crime storyline comes to a head this week as Mark and Eve battle a dragon, and the balance of power changes in the Invincible universe. But who’s who in the Invincible Season 3, Episode 5 voice cast? Read on, duderino.
But before we get to that (or scroll down if you want to get right to it), a brief recap of the episode for context. And spoilers past this point. In “This Was Supposed To Be Easy,” Titan has a problem. Specifically, Multi-Paul, who isn’t happy about being in prison, and creates enough dupes that they burst open the door to his cell. He gets caught, and we subsequently discover the origin of Multi-Paul and Dupli-Kate, complete with drunk dad and abandonment issues.
Back to the Grayson house, everyone is pretty aware that Eve has been sleeping over, and so they double down on their “moving in together” plan. Only problem, where will they get the money? That’s when they come up with Invincible Inc., a company that will be on retainer to prisons, so when they have superpowered villain escapees, they call Invincible and problem solved.
And while this is going on, turns out Oliver has been sneaking out to hang out with skater kids his own age — leading to a tense moment where Oliver pantses some bullies instead of killing them. That’s called “growth.”
Also growth? During our Teen Team check-in, Rex Splode cooks dinner for Shrinking Rae, and asks her out. It’s pretty sweet!
Okay, back to the main plot. Titan talks to Machine Head in prison, and hatches a plan — more on that later. But part of he plan? Titan tricks Invincible into coming to the prison, tells him about The Order, the big, overarching crime syndicate ruling Earth, and escapes. That’s when Isotope seemingly betrays Titan, who has not freed Multi-Paul from prison like he was asked to do by The Order. Mr. Liu, leader of the order, turns into an enormous dragon to go break him out.
Multi-Paul escapes again, to be trapped by Eve (maybe), while the Mr. Liu Dragon rips Invincible apart. After an enormous fight, Mark thinks he’s killed Mr. Liu, but it doesn’t take… Instead, Isotope returns, reveals he was working with Titan the whole time, Machine Head returns and kills Mr. Liu’s host body. He was also working with Titan the whole time! The end result is Titan leaves The Order and runs the city the way he wants, Machine Head is back in charge of The Order, and as a capped, Mr. Liu is brought back to life in the post-credits scene.
Last but not least, Mark and Eve decide to slow things down a bit and not move in together. Also, Debbie knows they’re having sex.

Invincible Season 3, Episode 5 “This Was Supposed To Be Easy” Cast: Who’s Who In The Voice Cast?

While we won’t break down the main voice cast (you can read previous breakdowns for that), this week’s episode is a star-studded family affair, so let’s get into it.
Todd Williams returns as the voice of Titan, and you might know him from All Rise or as Dr. Geyer on Teen Wolf. He’ll also do a TBA voice on the upcoming Marvel Zombies.
Returning to the show as Vanessa, the wife of Titan, is Nicole Byer. She also voices “Bachelorette” this episode, and you know Byer as the host of Netflix’s Nailed It! or her many other comedy appearances.
Somali Rose takes over the voice of Fiona, the daughter of Titan and Vanessa — previously the role was also played by Byer. You might have heard Rose as Roxy on Puppy Dog Pals, or as Missy’s Overalls on Big Mouth.
Isotope, Titan’s second-in-command, is once again voiced by Invincible utility player Chris Diamantopoulos. In addition to many other voices, Diamantopoulos is also Donald and Doc Seismic on the show.
Speaking of Diamantopoulos, Oliver’s two skater friends are, in fact, friends of the family. Skater Boy is played by Rex Diamantopoulos, who is indeed one of Chris’s four kids. And Skater Girl is played by Abigail Kirkman, one of Invincible creator Robert Kirkman’s two kids.

Not related to either of them is Jeffrey Donovan, who returns as the voice of Machine Head this episode. Donovan is probably best known for playing the lead role in Burn Notice, though he’s also popped up on multiple (not to be confused with Multi Paul) episodes of Law & Order shows as Detective Frank Cosgrove.
Tzi Ma returns as Mr. Liu, as well as the voice of the Dragon, and some select credits from his prolific career include Kung Fu and Interior Chinatown.
Jermaine Fowler plays the roles of Security Officer and Young Man, and you may know him as the creator/star of the much loved Superior Donuts. He also played the voice of James Jr. on the much loved Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur.
Jo Marie Payton, aka Harriette Baines Winslow from Family Matters, is the voice of the Warden of the prison.
Nicholas Podany, who played Billy Crystal in the recent movie Saturday Night, plays the voice of Teen Boy #1. And Josh Richards, who previously appeared in Read the Room and Fight Krewe is the voice of Teen Boy #2.
