‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’: Every WEB Member Teased In The Season Finale

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 1 Episode 10 Harry Osborn whiteboard

The final few minutes of the season finale of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man were chock full of wild twists and turns, setting up what’s to come in Season 2. But blink and you’ll miss it, there was even more than Finesse, a possible Venom, and the return of someone from Peter’s past. Just over Harry Osborn’s (Zeno Robinson) shoulder we got a whole slew of names teasing characters to come.

In case you did blink and miss it, though, here’s the deal, and spoilers past this point. After everything goes down at Oscorp in the finale, Peter (Hudson Thames) is feeling conflicted about his internship and decides to quit. So Nico (Grace Song) makes a suggestion: why doesn’t Harry start a new company that’s more ethical than Oscorp? And that’s exactly what Harry does, with W.E.B., aka Worldwide Engineering Brigade. We get to see Harry invite the Oscorp interns, but the whiteboard behind him has a whole list of names.

So, who’s who on the whiteboard? Let’s break it all down, in order, including Tiberius Stone, Max Dillon, and your friend and mine, Ned Leeds.

Peter Parker – Voiced by Hudson Thames, you know this guy. He’s Spider-Man.

Amadeus Cho – Voice by Aleks Le, the (potential) future Hulk decides to take a job at Oscorp instead.

Asha – The Wakandan voiced by Erica Luttrell is TBD when it comes to WEB.

Scott Forbes – This is either a reference to a random special agent who showed up in one issue of Inhumans, or to Marvel artist W. Scott Forbes, who currently works in Visual Development for Marvel Studios. So, probably the latter.

Max Dillon – You know him better as the named Electro, who has plagued Spider-Man as part of the Sinister Six.

Jeanne Foucault – Voiced by Anjali Kunapaneni on the show, she’s pretty busy being Daredevil’s sidekick, Finesse.

Lee Ann Dufour – An art designer and director who has worked on various Disney productions.

Tai Miranda – First introduced in the series Unstoppable Wasp, which also included Finesse, Taina Miranda is a wheelchair-bound engineering genius.

Emmy Choi – It’s possible this may be a reference to the Emmy Choi who is a prop designer in character animation, or Emma Choi, who worked as a translator on X-Men ’97. Or maybe neither!

Priya Aggarwal – Also introduced in Unstoppable Wasp, Priya is another member of G.I.R.L., the tech collective that Nadia, the second Wasp sets up. She’s a botanist who later gains plant-controlling powers.

Benjamin Anders – Anders is a character designer, art director, and illustrator who has worked on Adventure Time, Craig of the Creek, and more.

Toni Sandoval – While TBC, this seems to be a combination of Toni Ho, the daughter of Iron Man character Ho Yinsen, and Gerardo Sandoval, the co-creator of Toni Ho.

Ned Leeds – You know Ned! He’s played by Jacob Batalon in the Spider-Man MCU movies. In the comics he becomes Hobgoblin, so it’ll be interesting to see what route they take here.

Tiberius Stone – A scientist in the Marvel Comics, Tiberius is most associated with the Oscorp rival Alchemax, and is heavily tied with Spider-Slayers, robots that try to, you know, kill Spider-Man.

Adam Rodney – Only thing I’m coming up with for this one is a personal trainer in the LA area, or a YouTube star (who may be the same person as the personal trainer).

Kiden Nixon – A mutant with the power of time acceleration, she was first introduced in 2003’s NYX.

Ripley Ryan – Best known as the anti-hero Star, Ryan is the current bearer of the Reality Stone, and is able to make both subtle and large changes to reality as a result. She often clashes with Captain Marvel and doesn’t have a science background in the comics, so a surprising addition to this list.

Diane Jenkins – Jenkins is an Empire State University student who pretends to be Spider-Woman in a video game, drawing the attention of the real Spider-Woman, Jessica Drew.

  1. You forgot Pearl Pangan, a water-based superhero from the Philippines. Wave made her debut in the limited series War of the Realms: New Agents of Atlas in May 2019 and reprised her role as a member in the follow-on limited series Agents of Atlas (vol 3). She also appeared in the series Aero teaming up with the title character. She is set to be features in the upcoming limited series, Doom’s Division, releasing next month as part of the One World Under Doom comic event.
