Harley Quinn Season 5, Episode 3 Voice Cast: Who’s Who From Fluronic Man To Perry White

Harley Quinn Season 5 Episode 3 fluronic man

We’ve got yet another cast-member arriving in Metropolis this episode on Harley Quinn, as Clayface makes his move official. But there are a few more castmembers growing into their roles, so let’s break down who’s who in Harley Quinn Season 5, Episode 3 “Fluronic Man” voice cast!

But first, a brief bit of recap for the episode, and spoilers past this point. We kick off with a classic Clayface scene if there ever was one: he’s performing a one-man show titled Pearl Harbor Memories which is told from the perspective of a man who wasn’t at Pearl Harbor, and also it’s several years before the attack during World War II.

Shockingly, the play gets bad reviews, so he does what any actor would: storm over to the Daily Planet, ties up Perry White, and hires Bane to write a review for him. And as a consequence of that, not only does Clayface continue to pretend to be Perry White, but Bane gets hired as lead columnist. This should go well! Even worse, Lois and Jimmy reveal to “Perry” that there’s a floating object giving everyone in Metropolis terrible dreams, but “Perry” only cares about theater reviews, for one specific show: Clayface’s show.

Meanwhile, that bonkers B-plot aside, Harley is pretty pissed off that Ivy didn’t tell her about killing Jason Woodrue last episode, while Ivy has a bad dream about Woodrue. All this gets cut off because Ivy has to take her morning s**t. Later, at the Metropolis Green Initiative, Ivy sees there’s a weird yellow ichor on the plants, so goes into the Green to meditate and find our what’s wrong. A flower leads her to a tree, and the tree hatches to reveal… Jason Woodrue, who has become a being of the Green called Fluronic Man.

They fight, and he wants to kill her — but Harley finds Ivy first, in a trance. So Harley calls for help in the form of Frank the Plant, who agrees to go into the Green. He sees Ivy and Fluronic Man fighting, and sends Harley to find Jason’s body, and kill him for real.

Back in the Green, Fluronic Man and Frank fights, while Ivy tries to find the lab where Jason’s body is hidden. First she sees a lab that’s doing a sex experiment, then a lab that’s full of helium, and then a lab where people are just having sex, not for an experiment. Science is fun, folks.

Harley does find Jason’s body, finally, and chops it into tiny pieces, freeing Ivy. Just then Brainiac’s bots — the ones everyone has been dreaming of — surround Harley and Ivy, and send them to his ship.

“What are we going to do with them, Koko?” Brainiac asks his pet monkey thing. What indeed?

Harley Quinn Season 5, Episode 3 “Fluronic Man” Cast: Who’s Who In The Voice Cast?

Harley Quinn Season 5 Episode 3 clayface

So for the most part the cast here is the same as previous episodes. For info on that, check out our previous guides. However, as mentioned the big news is that Alan Tudyk is back as Clayface — and he does the voice of Perry White both before and after Clayface takes over. A Virtuoso!

Also pulling double duty, John Slattery is both Jason Woodrue and the wood goblin voice of Fluronic Man this episode. You know Slattery from Mad Men and as Howard Stark in the MCU.

Mary Deaton, who was the Pippa Middleton impersonator last episode, returns as Grad Student #3. Meanwhile, the excellently named Bumper Robinson is Grad Student #2. He’s played Bumblebee on Transformers: Animated, Cyborg in Justice League: Doom, and was a clerk on Kite Man: Hell Yeah!

Drew Massey returns as the voice of Jimmy Olsen this episode, after appearing in the season premiere. He’s actually a prolific puppeteer who previously played Puppet Angel on the puppet episode of Angel, Puppet Abed on Community, and Sid on Sid the Science Kid. Pretty neat!

And last but not least, Phil Lamarr plays the voice of Koko. Fun fact: Lamarr is the voice of Hermes on Futurama, and Bumper Robinson plays Hermes’s son Dwight. A family reunion!
