Another week, and more new comics this week. Hey, it happens to the best of us! Anyway, here are some notable releases for January 22, 2025.
Marvel has a new issue of Ultimate Spider-Man that pays tribute to Kraven’s Last Hunt. Meanwhile, X-Men: Xavier’s Secret collects the digital comic that bridges the gap between Krakoa and From the Ashes. And Doctor Doom and Rocket Raccoon kicks of J. Michael Straczynski’s weird team-up experiment.
Over at DC Comics, there’s a new issue of Absolute Wonder Woman featuring a focus on Barbara Minerva, Cheetah if you’re nasty. Black Canary: Best of the Best continues the brawl to end them all. And Superman #22 continues the fight against a planet of Doomsdays.
Valiant finishes off their big event with Resurgence of the Valiant Universe Finale. IDW pits Godzilla versus Dracula and the Wolfman in Godzilla’s Monsterpiece Theatre #3. And Dark Horse’s Ripperland #1 is like Westworld meets Jack the Ripper.
