Marvel Rivals Heads To Print With A New Comic Book

Good news! You no longer have to wait for hours and keep reloading the ink while you print out your latest session of Marvel Rivals: the hit PVP shooter is coming to Marvel Comics with a special one-shot.

Collecting all six issues of the Marvel Unlimited Marvel Rivals Infinity Comic, written by Paul Allor with art by Luca Claretti, the comic sets up the story of the hit game and depicts, per PR from the publisher, “an epic battle between two squads of members pulled from the original roster of playable characters including iconic heroes like Spider-Man, Captain America, and Wolverine along with breakout stars like Luna Snow and Jeff the Land Shark! Combining the breakneck action of the game with classic Marvel Comics storytelling, it’s a must-have for fans who wish to dive deeper into the thrilling world of Marvel Rivals!”

If you’ve never played Marvel Rivals and are wondering what the deal is, here’s the deal: in Tokyo 2099, a time rift has disrupted the Web of Life and Destiny. With the world’s heroes divided on how to deal with it, it’s down to Peni Parker versus Spider-Man for the fate of the planet. Peni’s group wants to plug the Web into Cyberspace. Spider-Man’s group wants to use Chronovium to strengthen the web. Which group will win? Well, it’s an ongoing game so probably neither.

You can check out covers by Tokitokoro and Federico Sabbatini, below. The Marvel Rivals comic hits stores on April 2, also featuring a cover by Adam Warren.
