Unaired ‘Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur’ Episodes Hit Disney+ In February… But Not All Of Them

Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur

Disney and Marvel’s Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur looks like it’s finally going to release its unaired episodes on Disney+ next month. Only problem? Not all of them are making it to the streaming service.

Per Disney’s combined listings for its streaming services, 10 episodes of the Emmy-nominated animated series are hitting Disney+ on Friday, February 7. That’s great news because the show was unceremoniously canceled on October 20, 2024, before the second season aired.

The less good news? Only 10 episodes are hitting Disney+, while 11 episodes have yet to air. Late last year, the show made waves when one of the animators revealed online that one episode, “The Gatekeeper,” was pulled from the lineup because “of which party that won the recent election.” Specifically, the episode in question includes a storyline about a trans athlete. While Disney did not confirm nor deny anything in regards to “The Gatekeeper,” they did cut a trans storyline from the Disney+ animated sports series Win or Lose.

We’ve reached out to Disney to see if the episode held back from Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur‘s streaming release date is, indeed, “The Gatekeeper,” but did not receive a response by press time. We’ll update if and when we hear back.

In the meantime, you can watch the final 10 episodes of Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur, whichever ones they are, on February 7 on Disney+.
