Creature Commandos Cast: Who’s Who In Episode 6, From Rupert Thorne To That Familiar Sounding Madam?

creature commandos episode 6

We’re one episode from the end of the season of Creature Commandos. And as everything comes down to either killing — or not — Princess Ilana, we still have time to visit an iconic DC Comics location, and drop a few new characters into the mix. Wondering who is in the Creature Commandos Episode 6 voice cast? Read on.

But first, a quick bit of recap on the episode for context, and spoilers past this point. In “Priyatel Skelet,” our flashback focuses on Doctor Phosphorus, and it certainly seems to take place in Gotham City. A promising scientist named Alexander James Sartorius who looks exactly like Alan Tudyk is trying to create a nuclear fusion treatment to burn out cancer. That’s how his father died, and his wife’s father, as well. Unfortunately for him, he made a deal for funding with corrupt gangster Rupert Thorne. When Alex cheats Thorne by giving him fake research to pass to the fascist country of Bialy, Thorne kills Alex’s wife and son, frames him, and then throws him in his machine.

Unfortunately for Thorne, that turns Alex into Dr. Phosphorus, who kills him, everyone who was involved in the murder/accident, and then takes over his operation. It isn’t until Batman shuts him down, complete with crash of lightning straight out of Batman: The Animated Series that his reign of terror/dance routine is stopped.

Meanwhile, in the present, Phosphorus is on the run from the law in Pokolistan, and stops by to visit a young girl. He considers killing her, but ultimately does not — remembering a little bit of his humanity.

Meanwhile, The Bride and Nina Mazursky hide out in an establishment called Can-Can, which is a bordello, as it turns out. While the Madam in charge helps get the Pokolistan army off their tail, they clash with two violent metahumans called the Craic Brothers, who both have electric powers. That doesn’t phase the Bride, who kills them both, the second ripping his still beating heart out of his chest and showing it to him as he dies. Kali ma, am I right?

While this is happening Weasel has made new friends with a pack of wolves, who he plays with in a field. But a memory that conflates the blonde girl he couldn’t save back in the day with Princess Ilana convinces him to leave his new friends and head to the castle.

Back in the United States, Rick Flag is alive — but in a coma with a broken back. Waller and Economos figure out Eric Frankenstein is heading after The Bride, which could be bad news for their plan to have The Bride kill Ilana. And it probably is, as Frankenstein commandeers a plane back to his home country.

So, to review… Princess Ilana has her whole army ready to take down the Commandos. The Bride, Nina, Phosphorus, and Weasel are heading to kill her — though Weasel may not be on their side. Flag is in a coma. And Eric Frankenstein is loping into the midst of this to mess s**t up.

“Well, I guess this is it,” The Bride says. “Let’s go kill a Princess.”

Creature Commandos Season 1, Episode 6 “Priyatel Skelet” Cast: Who’s Who In The Cast?

shohreh aghdashloo as madam on creature commandos

We won’t review the main cast as we’ve covered them before. But there are two big additions this episode… Though neither of them are Batman. While it’s very cool to see the Dark Knight, the role has yet to be cast in the DCU, and they’re not just gonna throw in anyone as his voice.

That said, we do meet Rupert Thorne, who is voiced by Benjamin Byron Davis. Though the character was first introduced in the comics in 1977, he’s very much associated with the classic Batman: The Animated Series, so it’s neat to see him here. Davis previously played the voice of Dutch van der Linde in the Red Dead Redemption video game series. In Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 he played Bletelsnort, and in Ant-Man and the Wasp he was Agent Burleigh.

The other major voice is Shohreh Aghdashloo, who plays the Madam. Most recently, she played Nadia Maroni on The Penguin, which I’ll clarify takes place in a different universe than the DCU. She’s probably best known for her role as Chrisjen Avasarala on The Expanse, though has had dozens of other roles including the voice of the dragon in Netflix’s Damsel.

Fans of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina might have recognized Luke Cook as the voice of Craic Brother 1 — he played Lucifer on the series. Russ Bain was the other brother, and is best known for his role on Shetland where he confusingly played a character named Bobby Bain.

Raoul Bhaneja, the voice of Doctor, was Richard Shirley on Blindspot and Joe Hudlin on Clarice. Leila Birch, who voices both Nurse and Reporter #2 is best known as Teresa di Marco on EastEnders. Giles Matthey, who played Claude Crane on True Blood, appears as Thug #1 and Young Man.

Parisa Fakhri is the voice of Parvin Sartorius, Alex’s doomed wife. She’s played a number of roles but might be most recognizable as Marwa, one of Nandor’s wives on What We Do In The Shadows. Chester Rushing, aka Tommy Hagan from Stranger Things, is the voice of Co-Pilot, Hoodlum, and Private Guard.

And if you’re a fan of Resident Evil, you likely recognized Salli Saffioti, the voice Ingrid Hunnigan, as French Sex Worker — aka the one who gets beaten up and then says “Merci” to The Bride.
