New Comics This Week: Full Comics List For January 1, 2025

New year, new comics this week! But not a ton! While a few comic book companies took last week’s new comic book day off, this week lands on New Year’s and nearly half a dozen companies below aren’t releasing new books this week.

But some are, including Marvel! They’ve got Deadpool/Wolverine #1 teaming up those crazy kooks from the movies. Cable: Love & Chrome sends the title character to the future for a new status quo. And Ultimates #8 brings on the Ultimate Guardians of the Galaxy.

DC Comics also isn’t taking the week off, with a new issue of Absolute Superman. Justice League: The Atom Project also premieres, pitting The Atom and The Atom versus Captain Atom. And Two-Face #2 continues to pit Harvey’s two personalities against each other.

BOOM! Studios has When I Lay My Vengeance Upon Thee #1, a supernatural book. Image Comics releases Saga #71. And Oni Press says goodbye to 2024 with Rick And Morty: New Year, New Rick Special #1.
