Mikey Mouse And Friends Become The Avengers In Marvel’s Latest ‘What If…?’ One-Shot

Mickey and Friends have already become Captain Marvel, the Fantastic Four, Wolverine, and Thor. So what’s next? Why, The Avengers, of course, in the upcoming one-shot Marvel & Disney: What If…? Mickey & Friends Became The Avengers #1.

In the upcoming comic book from writers Luca Barbieri and Steve Behling, with art by Alessandro Pastrovicchio, Mickey and his pals will take the place of the superhero characters in a retelling of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby’s Avengers #1. And that means Donald becomes Thor, Mickey is Iron Man, Goofy is The Hulk, Minnie is The Wasp and Pluto is Ant-Man. I have some questions about the latter pairing, but I’ll leave them for another time.
