Marvel Studios has snagged two nominations at this year’s Golden Globe awards, including an extremely dubious nomination for Deadpool & Wolverine for making a lot of money.

The more legit nomination is for Kathryn Hahn for her role as Agatha Harkness in Agatha All Along. And Season 2 truthers may want to note that the nomination is in the category Best Performance by a Female Action In A Television Series – Musical Or Comedy… Not in one of the Limited Series categories.

Hahn will be competing against Kristen Bell for Nobody Wants This, Quinta Brunson for Abbott Elementary, Ayo Edebiri for The Bear, Selena Gomez for Only Murders in the Building, and Jean Smart for Hacks.

The other nomination, as mentioned above, is for Deadpool & Wolverine for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement. Basically, popular movies that made a lot of money that otherwise weren’t nominated for Best Picture. This is, I am going to say, a wild category for the Golden Globes in particular, an awards show that not only has nonsense Musical and Comedy categories to allow these sorts of popular movies to get nominations but also are usually drunken spectacles based on who everyone wants to hang out with.

So yeah, congrats to Deadpool & Wolverine, I guess? It will be competing against Alien: Romulus, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Gladiator II, Inside Out 2, Twisters, The Wild Robot, and Wicked, many of which were also nominated for other slightly more real awards.

That said? If there is anyone who can appreciate a fake award, it’s Deadpool.
