If there’s one thing James Gunn is known for, it’s probably being the head of DCU Studios. If there are two things? His excellently curated soundtracks, including chart-toppers like the ones for the Guardians of the Galaxy series over at Marvel. And that awesome mix makes it way over to the the Creature Commandos track list on Max.
The animated series has finished airing its first season… And you won’t be surprised to find that it’s packed with earworms that will have you bopping and singing along until the next season arrives (whenever that is).
With that in mind, we broke down all the songs in show, episode by episode, below. We also embeded them for your listening pleasure, where available.

Creature Commandos, Episode 1: “The Collywobbles” Full Track List
“Moliendo Café” by Fanfare Ciocǎrlia
This is the main title theme played in the episodes, so you’ll be hearing it again!
“My Gypsy Auto Pilot” by Gogol Bordello
This one plays when the team arrives in Pokolistan.
“Los Cuardos Que Derriten (Live Mix)” by Mucora
As night falls in Pokolistan, we get a montage of all of the characters not sleeping that well.
“Mala Vida” by Gogol Bordello
Doctor Phosphorus sneaks into Rick Flag Sr.’s bedroom to grab the device that electrocutes the Creature Commandos, leading to a massive fight… And another Gogol Bordello song plays underneath.
Juodaan Viinaa by “Korpiklaani”
This song plays over the end credits of the episode.
Creature Commandos, Episode 2: “The Tourmaline Necklace” Full Track List
“Start Wearing Purple” by Gogol Bordello
As Circe and the Sons of Themyscira attack The Bride and Nina, we once again get a little Gogol Bordello.
“American Wedding” by Gogol Bordello
In a flashback it’s revealed that Eric Frankenstein killed Doctor Frankenstein, and then The Bride fled the castle as the monster burned. Underscoring that? You guessed it, more Gogol Bordello.
“Ompa Til Du Dør” by Kaizers Orchestra
We hear this tune over the closing credits of the episode.

“Coin-Operated Boy” by The Dresden Dolls
While G.I. Robot kills a bunch of SofT Boys in the present, we also flash back to him killing a group of white suprmacists in the past – which led to him getting arrested.
“The Feeling You Bring” by Mount Righteous
This plays over the end titles of the episode.

“Hjerteknuser” by Kaizers Orchestra
This song plays over the closing credits.

“American Wedding” by Gogol Bordello
While we see Eric’s perspective on the death of Victor Frankenstein, this song begins playing as The Bride attacks him.
“Love Song #666” by The Urban Voodoo Machine
As Alexi drives the Commandos into Pokolistan, he grooves out to this song playing on the radio. It continues to play under an action scene as the Commandos fight the Pokolistan army, and Frankenstein and Rick Flag fight Clayface.
“I Wouldn’t Want To Live In A World Without Grudges” by The World/Inferno Friendship Society
After Frankenstein kills the old woman he was living with, this begins to play over the end of the episode.

“Wonderlust King” by Gogol Bordello
As Doctor Phosphorus appears as his full self in the flashback, this begins playing – and then continues under a montage of him killing Rupert Thorne’s entire gang, taking over his business, dancing in a pimp suit, and then being shut down by Batman.
“Hey Clown” by Firewater
Frankenstein arrives in Pokolistan, and pays the pilots as this kicks off.

“I Am All I Got” by The Dead Brothers
Once Nina has had it with being bullied at school, she heads to the sewers, strips off her clothes, and embraces being an animal, as this song plays in the background.
“People Are Strange” by Johnny Hollow
Nina swims underneath Ilana to kill her to the tune of this song.
“Hey God” by Juke Baritone
This song begins as we meet the new Creature Commandos, and continues over the end credits.
