‘Absolute Batman’ #1 Heads Back For A Fourth Printing

Absolute Batman #1 cover crop

Just yesterday, DC Comics claimed the title of best-selling comic book of the year for Absolute Batman #1, with just under 400,000 copies sold. Well, looks like the publisher isn’t stopping there as they’ve announced a fourth printing for the premiere issue.

Debuting on December 25, 2024, the fourth printing of the comic by Scott Snyder and Nick Dragotta will feature a main and variant cover by Dragotta, a black and white wraparound foil variant cover by Dragotta, and a variant cover by Simone Di Meo.

The foil one is great news because I can buy a bunch of them on Christmas and use the covers to wrap my Hanukkah presents. Just kidding.

Along with the wild sales for Absolute Batman, since the launch of the DC All In initiative the publisher has also claimed sell-outs at the direct market level (i.e., to comic book stores) for Absolute Superman, Absolute Wonder WomanDetective Comics, and the DC All In Special.
