New ‘Captain America: Brave New World’ Trailer Reveals More Of The Brutal Red Hulk Showdown

A brand new trailer for Marvel‘s Captain America: Brave New World has been shown off at the currently running D23 Brazil event. And if you’re not in Brazil? That’s okay, you can watch it online, right here. And the two-and-a-half-minute look shows off a whole lot more of that brutal fight between Red Hulk (Harrison Ford) and Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie).

While we’ve gotten hints of this before, this new trailer definitely ups the conspiracy theory vibes as the walls close in on Sam Wilson and his allies. Those include Joaquin Torres (Danny Ramirez) the new Falcon, and… Well, that’s pretty much it. Harrison Ford’s President Ross doesn’t seem to like him very much. Shira Haas’s Ruth Bat-Seraph, who is now a Black Widow and not the Israeli superhero known as Sabra is also standing against him. And in the shadows is The Leader (Tim Blake Nelson), who is gamma-powered and making his return from 2008’s The Incredible Hulk.

Oh yeah, there’s also Isaiah Bradley (Carl Lumbly), a super-soldier who makes his way over from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier TV series. You can’t tell exactly what’s been done to throw him in prison, because footage of him shooting at President Ross was excised from trailers after the first assassination attempt against Donald Trump several months back. Despite that being several months in the rearview mirror, it looks like Disney is still exhibiting caution in showing off that footage.

They’re throwing caution to the wind when it comes to the Red Hulk, though. You get to see Ross transforming, the fact that he seems to go hot — just like in the comics. And Sam faces him down, despite his general lack of superpowers. You can also see more of the action scene set around the Eternals frozen Celestial Tiamut. If you’re into that sort of thing.

You can check out the trailer below for more. Captain America: Brave New World hits theaters on February 14, 2025.
