Marvel Teases Comic Book Kidpool Is From The MCU, Reveals ‘Kidpool & Spider-Boy’ #1 Covers

Kidpool made a splash this summer in Deadpool & Wolverine as part of the Deadpool Corps. And now the kid with a mouth (I guess that’s most kids) will make her debut in Kidpool & Spider-Boy #1. Not only that, Marvel is teasing that this might be the MCU character, making her mighty Marvel Comics debut.

Written by Christopher Yost, with art by Nathan Stockman, the one-shot will — per the title — reveal the first meeting between the kid version of Deadpool, and Spider-Boy. But the official synopsis also tantalizingly teases this might be the same Kidpool from the movie. It’s not out of the question, either, as the character Kahhori recently crossed over from the MCU to the 616 in this week’s Kahhori: Reshaper of Worlds #1.

Here’s the official synopsis, per PR from Marvel:

It’s a historic first meeting as your new favorite foul-mouthed adolescent, KIDPOOL, teams up with another one of the biggest debut characters in recent memory, SPIDER-BOY! Will the Adolescent-Arachnid be able to keep the Murderous Middle-Grader from causing the return of the Comics Code? UNLIKELY! But Bailey is going to try! And could this all-new KIDPOOL be the very same one from the multiverse-shattering movie? Nothing is off limits when it comes to the Merc with a Mouth!

You can also check out three covers for the issue, by Humberto Ramos , Paco Medina, and Todd Nauck, below. Kidpool & Spider-Boy #1 hits stores on December 25, 2024.
