And just like magic, that’s a wrap on Agatha All Along. With tonight’s two-episode finale, the season came to a close, finishing the story of Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn), Rio Vidal (Aubrey Plaza), and of course Billy Maximoff (Joe Locke). But this is an MCU series, and there’s surely more to come with these characters… Regardless of their fates in the final episode, right? So will there be an Agatha All Along Season 2?

The short answer here is that Disney and Marvel have not announced anything, either way, on whether Agatha All Along has been canceled, renewed, or sent to a limbo of its own making. However, we’ve got some fairly educated speculation on what’s next in the franchise… Specifically the part of the franchise that concerns Agatha Harkness and frenemies.

Here’s what we know about Agatha All Along Season 2.

Most likely there will not be an Agatha All Along Season 2. And despite what YouTube trolls might want you to think, that has nothing to do with its viewership numbers. Instead, it’s probably important to remind you (and them) that Agatha All Along is, for all intents and purposes, WandaVision Season 2.

Though Marvel is pivoting to more traditional television production going forward — or at least that’s reportedly what they’ve said — with pilots, showrunners, and longer seasons, the MCU is still one big ongoing story. However, there are some things that are more direct sequels than others, and Agatha All Along picks up almost directly where WandaVision (and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) left off.

So there probably won’t be an Agatha All Along Season 2 because it, itself, is a Season 2. And Season 3 of the WandaVision trilogy is already in the works. It stars Paul Bettany as the White Vision who rocketed off somewhere unknown at the end of WandaVision, and his quest for his own identity/humanity.

Unlike WandaVision and Agatha All Along though, it doesn’t come from the “twisted” mind of Jac Schaeffer. Instead, due to her commitments to Agatha, she passed it along to Picard and 12 Monkeys showrunner Terry Matalas. We also know that James Spader will appear as Ultron — somehow, after being destroyed at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron. Also in the cast is Matalas’s good luck charm, Todd Stashwick, as an assassin hot in pursuit of Vision.

So yeah, there won’t be an Agatha All Along Season 2, because the Vision series is next up. Never say never, I guess. We’ll likely see the Agatha All Along characters again. But not anytime soon, and almost definitely not in a second season.

When Will Vision Premiere On Disney+?

White Vision in WandaVision

So just to be clear, Marvel has yet to officially announce the name of the series. At one point it may have been called VisionQuest. Fans referred to it as White Vision, but I can’t imagine a world where they release that as an actual name for a TV show. It may simply be Vision, but at this time we don’t know.

That said, we do know that filming is expected to begin in 2025 for the series and that it will likely hit Disney+ in 2026. Given Marvel teased their entire TV slate through December 2025 already, it seems likely that yes, the earliest Vision (or whatever it’s called) won’t premiere until sometime in 2026.

This is also meant to be the closer of the trilogy that began with WandaVision, and continued with Agatha All Along. So will Agatha Harkness, Billy Maximoff, or any other characters pop up in the show? And if so, will it follow up on the cliffhanger of — spoilers past this point — the ghost of Agatha and Billy, aka Wiccan, searching for Tommy Maximoff? We’ve got another two years to go until we find out.
