In classic big box store fashion, it’s not even Halloween yet and Marvel is already clearing the shelves to get ready for Christmas. Or, the holidays, with the one-shot Marvel Holiday Tales to Astonish.
In the one shot, we’re treated to three short tales of holiday cheer. Gerry Duggan and Phil Noto bring us to the Fantastic Four’s holiday party. Daniel Kibblesmith and Pat Olliffe bring on a Hanukkah story starring Kitty Pryde. And Gen Luen Yang and Dylan Burnett find Peter Parker and Miles Morales celebrating the New Year together. Will they kiss at midnight? TBD.
Along with those stories, there are covers by “Luciano Vecchio and Leonardo Romero along with a wraparound homage cover by Lee Garbett and a hidden gem cover from industry legends Gil Kane and John Romita Sr.,” per PR provided to Comic Book Club.
Check out the official synopses of the stories below, as well as covers and unlettered art. Marvel Holiday Tales to Astonish #1 hits stores on December 4, 2024.
